Wizerior

Again and again, the vaults of Wizerior devour hundreds of adventurous companions who descend into them in search of fame, gold and adventure. But what happened to the others doesn't have to happen to you, does it?

Accept the challenge and face the dangers! Surely, a few starving monsters are no obstacle for you!

Wizerior is a Gauntlet-like action game for two players playing simultaneously.

I coded the game myself back in 1988. So don't be too hard on it! It certainly contains a few bugs, isn't easy to play, and can be pretty unforgiving. But hey — it was created by a teenager and was one of my first assembly-language programs. Hahaha!

The game was originally published by Markt & Technik in Germany in 1988 on floppy disk.

Play it with joystick in your preferred emulator (VICE64 tested, best with emulated joystick via keyboard) or transfer the file on a original C64.
